I’m a writer of young adult fiction drawn to stories that sit at the intersection of mystery, identity, and emotional consequence.

My path into writing began early. In sixth grade, a Newbery Award–winning author visited my school
and invited students to share stories. I bravely raised my hand and told one. Two years later, she mailed
me her latest hardcover book —We Live in the North—in which I appeared as the main character.
On the cover page she added a handwritten note thanking me for “contributing so richly” to her story.
That moment quietly set me on the path I’m still on.

Since then, my fiction has appeared in Highlights for Children, where I also won their fiction award,
and my work has been reprinted by Scholastic. An earlier novel earned a Silver IPPY Award.
I’ve been writing professionally for years and am a longtime member of SCBWI.

I’m currently seeking representation for my completed YA mystery SHAKEN, a high-stakes story
about memory, truth, and the cost of uncovering both.
